A protest they can still convey


Those dark rags
Still showing some sort of sense of style
All black,
Like you’re wearing a disguise

I’ve never seen you smile
behind that sadness
Even if you’re always high
Immersed in madness

I still hope that you’ll come through eventually

You came from far away
To the wrong side of the street
